Apart from the fact that these following events all happened during the month of may, for this entry i guess there isn't much to explain: birthdays, they happen every year, but how often can you expect a cake with your name and 'happy birthday' written in japanese???...here is a medley of my so special day-or should i say days...
at the stroke of midnight, guess who came knocking at my door...
awww geez...you guys didn't have to, i hate surprises!...
pop quiz: how many people can you fit in a dorm room???...
wow, ok...this couldn't go by without an official barbeque at school...with all the folks...
the key to a good bbq is obviously the skewer preparation...
...and a good attitude. yay.
birthday yukata: yea...they made me put it on!!...
and another cake: a surprise 'macha' cake. merci Nami-chan!
kawaii deshou?...and my performance partner, Ami-chan: future singer, no joke. keep an ear out.
rhythm is a dancer...lalalala...
...and of course, can't forget my first japanese family: my lab members...who took me out to what has to be one of my favorite local specialties: motsu-nabe!
みなさん本当にありがとう!
Un grand merci a vous tous!
... and thanks again to all of you.
